Terms of service
The agreement behind the work.
These Terms govern your purchase and use of Trade Privacy's administrative confidentiality-management services. By completing checkout, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Effective September 8, 2026 · Commercial Policy Standard V1.0
1. Our service
Trade Privacy manages administrative vessel-manifest confidentiality work for product companies. The service includes the plan scope stated below and the operational status record presented through your Privacy File.
We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and do not create an attorney-client relationship.
2. Plans and charges
- Protection Activation: $299 per legal entity.
- Basic: one legal entity; $79 per month beginning on day 31.
- Pro: up to five legal entities; $199 per month beginning on day 31.
Initial checkout activates the first legal entity. Each additional legal entity added to a Pro subscription requires its own one-time $299 Protection Activation. The first 30 days of ongoing management are included. Your plan renews monthly and Stripe retains the payment method supplied at checkout for billing beginning after that included period. We provide at least 30 days’ advance notice before increasing a recurring price.
3. Plan scope
Basic includes complete managed confidentiality service, monitoring, a Privacy File, renewal custody, identity-variation review, and normal administrative follow-up for one legal entity.
Pro includes everything in Basic for up to five legal entities, higher-complexity identity management, exposure or leak triage, broker/forwarder naming guidance and templates, and priority support. We may recommend Pro if complexity materially exceeds Basic, but we will not increase your charge without notice.
4. Activation, correction and refunds
The $299 activation fee for a legal entity becomes non-refundable once we submit that entity’s confidentiality request to CBP. If we make a preparation or submission error, we correct it at no charge. If we ultimately cannot establish the intended coverage for an entity because of our own failure, we refund that entity’s $299 activation fee.
Historical records remaining in third-party databases do not constitute failure of current confidentiality coverage. Recurring payments are not prorated except for billing error, duplicate charge, or material failure to provide the paid service.
5. Cancellation and failed payment
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current service period. After active service ends, your Privacy File remains read-only for 90 days. We continue reasonable administrative follow-up for up to 30 days on submissions made while your account was active.
A failed payment receives a 7-day grace period. We may suspend service afterward and may terminate the account after 30 days unpaid.
6. Renewal management
We ordinarily open renewal review approximately 120 days before expiration, send a changes-only notice approximately 105 days before expiration, and target submission approximately 90 days before expiration. The 75-day point is an operational escalation; the 60-day point is a critical exception.
If you do not report changes and we identify no conflicting information, we proceed using the most recently verified information. Confirmation is not required solely to renew unchanged information.
7. Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate known legal-entity and importing information and tell us about material known changes. We treat third-party trade data as candidate research only. Only identities and findings verified by an analyst are presented to you as facts.
8. Support
Basic support responses are generally provided within one business day. Pro responses are generally provided the same business day during normal business hours or by the following business morning. These targets do not guarantee a particular resolution time.
9. Limitations
We do not guarantee CBP processing time, deletion of historical records, removal from third-party databases, absolute prevention of every exposed record, or protection of unidentified or unrelated entities.
10. Contact
Questions, cancellation requests, and billing concerns may be sent to support@tradeprivacy.com.
