Privacy policy
Your information supports one purpose: the work.
This policy explains the information Trade Privacy handles when you visit the site, request a review, purchase service, complete company setup, or use a Privacy File.
Effective September 8, 2026 · Commercial Policy Standard V1.0
Information we collect
- Contact and account information, including name, business email and role.
- Company and importing information you provide, including legal names, known name variations, U.S. mailing address and, only if you choose to provide it, an EIN.
- Order, plan, payment status and Stripe references. Trade Privacy does not store full card details.
- Exposure-review submissions, service communications and operational records maintained in your Privacy File.
- Basic technical and security information needed to operate, troubleshoot and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide exposure review, verify importing identities, prepare and manage confidentiality work, process and reconcile billing, operate your Privacy File, communicate service status, support customers, prevent misuse and maintain reliable records.
Third-party trade data is candidate research only. We do not make it customer-facing until an analyst verifies the identity or finding.
Service providers
We use service providers to run core parts of the service, including Stripe for payments and billing, Supabase for application data and authentication, our hosting provider for the application, and our configured transactional-email provider for service messages. They receive information only as needed to perform those functions under their own contractual and security obligations.
EIN and sensitive identifiers
An EIN is optional. If supplied, it is used to help confirm the importing entity. It is not placed in customer-facing email or URLs. Do not send full payment-card information or unnecessary sensitive personal information to Trade Privacy.
Retention and access
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain necessary operational and billing records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. When active service ends, the customer Privacy File remains read-only for 90 days under the Service Policy.
Security
We use access controls and server-side integrations designed to limit customer data to authorized people and systems. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to review or correct information you provided, request cancellation, or raise a privacy question by emailing support@tradeprivacy.com. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate operational, billing, security, or legal reasons.
Policy changes
If this policy changes materially, we will post the updated version and effective date. A recurring-price change is governed separately and requires at least 30 days’ advance notice.
