Service policy
Clear terms for managed protection.
This policy explains what each plan includes, when charges occur, and how activation, renewals, cancellation, refunds and support are handled.

Pricing and recurring billing
Protection Activation is $299 per legal entity. Initial checkout activates the first legal entity. Each additional legal entity added to a Pro subscription requires its own one-time $299 Protection Activation. The first 30 days of ongoing management are included. Basic is $79 per month beginning on day 31; Pro is $199 per month beginning on day 31. The payment method provided at checkout is retained by Stripe for recurring billing after the included period.
Any recurring-price increase requires at least 30 days’ advance notice.
What the plans include
- Basic: one legal entity, complete managed confidentiality service, monitoring, a Privacy File, renewal custody, identity-variation review and normal administrative follow-up.
- Pro: up to five legal entities, everything in Basic, higher-complexity identity management, exposure or leak triage, broker/forwarder naming guidance and templates, and priority support.
We may recommend Pro when actual complexity materially exceeds Basic. We will not impose a higher charge without notice.
Activation fee and refunds
The $299 activation fee for a legal entity becomes non-refundable once that entity’s confidentiality request has been submitted to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). If Trade Privacy makes a preparation or submission error, we will correct it at no charge. If we ultimately cannot establish the intended coverage for an entity because of our own failure, we will refund that entity’s $299 activation fee.
Historical records that remain in third-party databases do not mean that current confidentiality coverage failed.
Cancellation and recurring refunds
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current service period. We do not prorate recurring fees except for a billing error, duplicate charge, or material failure to provide the paid service.
Your Privacy File remains available in read-only form for 90 days after active service ends. We continue reasonable administrative follow-up for up to 30 days after service ends on submissions made while the account was active.
Failed payments
A failed recurring payment starts a 7-day grace period. Service may be suspended after that period and the account may terminate after 30 days unpaid.
Renewal management
- Renewal review opens approximately 120 days before expiration.
- A changes-only notice is sent approximately 105 days before expiration.
- Target renewal submission is approximately 90 days before expiration.
- 75 days before expiration is an operational escalation; 60 days is a critical-exception threshold.
If you report no changes and we identify no conflicting information, we proceed using the most recently verified information. Customer confirmation is not required merely to renew unchanged information.
Support expectations
Basic support is generally answered within one business day. Pro support is generally answered the same business day during normal business hours or by the following business morning. These are response targets, not guarantees of resolution time.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate known legal-entity and importing information and notifying Trade Privacy of material known changes. Third-party trade-data records are candidate research data only; only analyst-verified identities and findings become customer-facing facts.

Trade Privacy does not guarantee CBP processing time, deletion of historical records, removal from third-party databases, absolute prevention of every exposed record, or protection of unidentified or unrelated entities.
